Dan has served as pastor of Bethel UCC near Elkton, Virginia since 2006. Bethel and the Shenandoah Association supported Dan through Eastern Mennonite Seminary and the ordination process. He has had leadership roles in the Shenandoah Association. Dan is married to Nancy since 1985; they live near Port Republic, Virginia. They are parents of Chris and Nathaniel, who have families of their own.
