    Rev. Francine Vinson is a native Washingtonian; educated in the District of Columbia public schools and a graduate of the University of the District of Columbia and Howard University School of Divinity.

    Rev. Vinson was ordained by the Potomac Association Central Atlantic Conference. She served four years on the Committee on Church and Ministry before becoming Chair in 2011. She is a member of the L’ Enfant Chapter; American Business Women Association (ABWA) where she was awarded “Women of the Year”. She is also a member of the National Council of Negro Women. Her contribution to both Chapters include facilitating and chairing numerous major events.

    The Potomac Association was founded by Rev. Vinson, she currently chairs the Executive Planning Committee and serves as National Co-Coordinator for the Sister Circle. The program is designed to bring unity among clergy women and fosters support, diversity, racial equality, and justice within UCC pulpits.

    Rev. Vinson currently serves as Senior Associate Minister at Faith United Church of Christ, in Washington DC.
